The Confluence area offers many excellent fishing opportunities.
Streams stocked with rainbow, brown and brook trout include Laurel Hill
Creek, Whites Creek, McClintock Run and the Youghiogheny River, also
known as the "Yough". About four miles north of Confluence, 1.2 miles of
the Laurel Hill Creek has been designated a "Delayed Harvest -
Artificial Lures Only" area. Just downstream from Confluence, 3.5 miles
of the Youghiogheny is an "All Tackle Trophy Trout" area.
