Sugarloaf Wilderness Campsites - 445 Taylor Road, Confluence, PA 15424
Sugarloaf Wilderness Campsites is located six miles from the Youghiogheny River in Ohiopyle, and just five miles from the Yough Lake in Confluence. Our campsites are "wilderness campsites", providing you with privacy from everything but nature, and feature private trail access to the Ohiopyle State Park trail system. Most sites have their own parking, and some are only accessed by independent trails. All sites have picnic tables and fire rings supplied with firewood; some sites have shelters.

Youghiogheny River Lake Campgrounds
The campgrounds below are located at the Youghiogheny River Lake. Each campground has restrooms, a dump station, playground, and drinking water, with each campsite equipped with a table and fire ring. Sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis, or reservations can be made by calling the National Recreation Reservation Service at 1-877-444-6777. Outflow Recreation Area
Located at the base of the Youghiogheny Dam, this 75 site camping area is open all year. Electric, full hookup, tents-only, and basic sites are available. A spur of the Youghiogheny Bike Trail extends into the campground. A tents-only 'Bike & Hike' camping area is available for those using the trail. A
reservable group site with electric and water is located in the rear of campground. Full facilities, including showers, are available mid-May through mid-September. The campground operates under self-registration with reduced fees and facilities mid-April through mid-May, and mid-September to mid-October. It remains free of charge with minimal facilities mid-October through mid-April. The campground is undergoing renovations at this time, and all sites may not be available.
Tub Run Recreation Area
This camping area is located just off of Route 281, five miles south of Confluence. A swim area and boat launch are located within the campground exclusively for the campers' use. There are 101 sites available, offering a mix of electric, lakeside, walk-in/tent-only, and basic sites. Full facilities, including showers, are available mid-May through Labor Day. The campground is closed the remainder of the year.
Mill Run Recreation Area
This is a primitive campground with 30 sites available. A launch ramp and beach are located here. Located along the Addison-Friendsville road, the campground is in Maryland, just south of the Pennsylvania border. Showers are not available. The campground operates under self-registration May 1- Sept 30. It remains open, free of charge, the rest of the year without facilities.
